We offer various collections of Hand Woven silk sarees sourced from across India - Kanchi, Patola, Pochampally, North East India, and other places.
Contemporary:
These sarees blend traditional craftsmanship with modern designs, often incorporating geometric patterns, floral motifs, and lighter borders. Half-and-Half, Kalamkari printed Border, Embellishments, Designer Sarees form part of this collection.
Kanchi Classics:
Traditional sarees feature classic temple border designs, traditional motifs, and are known for their rich silk and heavy zari work. Classic motifs, Checks and Stripes, are part of the collection.
Festive:
Sarees for various Indian festivals. Temple border designs are example of the same.

Yes, all our Hand Woven Sarees are sourced from reputed weavers. We ensure the highest quality standards and authenticity to provide you with the best sarees available. All our sarees are Hand woven (Handloom Mark) and Pure Silk (Silk Mark) if mentioned.
We offer multiple jari types and are explicitly mentioned in the product pages.

The Handloom Mark and Silk Mark are certification marks provided by Government of India bodies to signify the authenticity, quality, and origin of handwoven textiles and silk products, respectively. Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) and Silk Mark Organization of India (SMOI) issue these certification marks to promote and protect traditional handloom and silk weaving industries, ensuring that consumers can distinguish genuine handwoven and silk products from imitations.

The starting price for Pure Kanchipuram Silk Handloom sarees is approximately USD 150 (Rs. 12,000).
These starting range sarees are Handwoven with pure silk, No Zari or Only half fine zari or Gold 2G, featuring very minimal design, and are crafted in Kanchipuram. It's important to note that lower-priced sarees (less than USD 150) are often machine-made are not sold by us.
Pure Gold Zari (handwoven & pure silk off course) with multiple designs and colors are available at various price points.

Our sarees sold in our website are;
HANDWOVEN | PURE SILK | PURE or Regular Zari
Significantly lower price sarees would be manufactured in powerlooms, have artificial silk and inferior zari.

Powerloom / Machine manufactured (not hand woven)
o It takes a minimum of 6 days to make a handloom saree.
o It takes FEW hours to make a powerloom saree.
o Cost of weaving in powerlooms is very low
Mostly Artificial Silk
o Cost of silk per kg runs into thousands while that of art silk is few hundreds.
Inferior Zari
o Cost of Pure Gold zari runs in tens of thousands per kg while that of other zaris is in few hundreds.

Powerloom vs. Handloom
o Handloom sarees have its own imperfections. You may not find all of them in a saree. Below are few of them which may not be found in a machine made saree.
 Slubs:, Minor Irregularities in Weave, Color Variations, Mispatterns, Selvedge Imperfections, Fringe or Tassel Imperfections
o Handloom sarees are heavier (more than 600 grams) vs 400 gms for a powerloom saree
Zari
o Hold the saree against the light to see if the zari reflects a genuine metallic shine.
Silk
o Art. Silk has a plastic feel while the original silk has a smooth luxurious silk texture.
o It also provides a distinct natural shine & glossy appearance
