List of issues not considered defects

  • Small knots or bumps in threads occur when broken threads are pieced together. 
  •          Uneven threads connecting the border to the body 
  •          Slubs - residual threads bundled together in tiny knots
  •         Small gaps in and around motifs.
  •         Dye 'bleeding' onto the pallu from the body
  •         Loose threads (like in Bandhani sarees) used for the tying and dyeing
  •         Color mismatch - We understand colors are subjective. We try to best capture the truest colors of the saree. Despite that, due to individual device settings, the colors may appear different on different devices. Hence, it is advisable you check with our team if you are doubtful regarding the color of a product.

Below are considered defects:

  •        Tears, holes, loose threads, or snags
  •         Permanent stains or uneven color fading (not per desgn)
  •         Misaligned patterns, weave irregularities, or skipped threads
  •         Warp and weft issues leading to patches, weak areas, or frayed selvages
  •         Uneven dyeing or color bleeding
  •         Defective embroidery or broken beads/sequins
  •         Persistent unpleasant odors
  •         Incorrect length (instead of what was stated)
  •         Missing blouse piece (if mentioned that the saree has a blouse piece)

Products that cannot be returned / exchanged / cancelled (because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective):

  •         Custom, Made to Order or personalized orders that have been stitched/woven for specified sizes, includes blouse orders that have not been processed yet
  •         Any product with blouse cut, tassel, pico done for the sarees
  •         Any product that has already been exchanged before –exchange / returns can occur only once per order.
  •         Sarees for which blouse has been stitched as per the customer's measurements.
  •         Discounted Items / Items bought during Sale.

Shipping Policy:

·      We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders.

·      Shipping charges (if charged) are calculated based on the weight of the product and the location of delivery.

·      Customers are requested to provide accurate ZIP code (postal code), address, area name so that there are no delays in delivery.

·      For international customers, the VAT/Import Duty/Local Taxes are to be borne by the customers (and paid to courier partner directly), as it varies from country to country based on the local governing policies. These charges are in addition to the price paid while placing the order.

·      Customers should not accept the shipping package if delivery box is damaged or open.
